102 Opening of the MPVA Loan & Insolvency Management Center 2007.01.04 1008
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Minister Park Yu-chul) opened on January 2, 2007 Loan & Insolvency Management Center (LIM) designed to manage all the loan and insolvency matters involving national meritorious persons, incorporating all the related works into one center. The center will be located on the 2nd floor of Shintaejin building near the MPVA.

The Center will carry out all kinds of loan-related works of the MPVA in a bid to better manage loan works from provision and recovery of loans, determination/notification of loan principle to each defaulter, and recovering arrears.

But applications that require personal visit of the applicants such as collateral alternation, succession to liabilities should be filed with the 25 regional offices and branch offices just like before.

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will be able to enhance the quality of MPVA administrative services by cutting in half the number of civil servants in charge of loan works from 69 to 35 in regional offices and relocating them to MPVA call centers and welfare assistance-related divisions where more administrative demand arises.
