MPVA, Offering Financial Assistance for Erecting a Monument in Columbia

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs plans to provide a financial assistance for Columbia to erect a monument commemorating Columbia’s participation in the Korean War. The MPVA will assist a worth of 120 million won in electing the monument as a way of commemorating the 60th anniversary of founding the Republic of Korea. The monument is to be build at Navy Museum located in Cartagena, Columbia.

The monument project has been pushed ahead with by the two governments since 2006 as an effort to memorize noble sacrifice of Columbian war veterans and to promote the friendship between the two countries.
