|The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA) held the 4th Revisit Korea Program for Korean War Veterans of the United States and Korean expatriates living in America from June 23 to 28, 2016.
Among the invited veterans was Seymour Bernstein, a world-renowned concert pianist who used his talent to give classical music concerts to frontline soldiers, offering his comrades moments of solace and hope during the Korean War.
MPVA officials welcomed the veterans at the Incheon International Airport and stayed with them throughout all of the events and ceremonies.
The veterans and their families were honored guests at the Reception for Honored Korean War Veterans on June 24 and the commemorative ceremony of 66th Anniversary of the June 25, 1950 outbreak of the Korean War.
The veterans also visited the Seoul National Cemetery and the War Memorial of Korea to pay respect to Korea’s fallen, and all of their American and United Nations allied soldiers who fell in the Korean War.
